Lamination Technique
Steps
1. Select an image and sketch it out on a piece of tag board. (Landscapes and organic shapes (flowers, etc.) work the best for this technique. Use simple shapes).
2. Cut your drawing out into sections (think about building up each element to make your objects/subject pop out).
3. Find your wood panel ( you might need to alter the size and recut the board in the shop).
4.Glue the shapes. Start with the background, then mid-ground, and, finally, the foreground.
5. Tape the shapes to secure them as they dry.
6. Cover the entire surface with gesso to seal the shapes

8. Stain the project (use wood stain). Wipe off the excess varnish.
