Part one: Students will explore 8-10 watercolor techniques in an abstract work. Tape around paper and create sections. Put tape on jeans or clothes to un-stick it a little before putting on paper.
Techniques to try: Flat Wash Graded Wash Dropping wet paint on a section painted with plain water Splatters and drips Edge blurring Crayon Resist Painting wet shapes right up next to wet shapes Layering Shapes when dry (next day)
